Track Review: Breaking My Phone / Oscar

London based newcomer Oscar has graced us once again with a highly anticipated and laid-back new track which every single one of his fans seems to be raving about, probably because Breaking My Phone is so relatable.

The infectiously buoyant sounds and ecstatic riffs of Daffodil Days and Beautiful Words carried us across the hot summer days of Pimms and BBQ’s but, now autumn’s here, we have the perfect soundtrack for watching the leaves turn brown to. Opening with Scheller’s distinctively mellow vocals, the band manage to craft themselves a new type of sound that’s utterly dynamic and full of energy once the chorus finally hits.

Supporting a plethora of bands on their upcoming tours, it’s clear Oscar and the band are setting out on a journey that’s going to last a long time, something which Breaking My Phone sets them up perfectly for.
