Rejjie Snow / Flexin

‘Anarchy in the UK’. It was a phrase coined by the Sex Pistols during the days when Mohawks, biker jackets and a zero fucks attitude reigned supreme. Though now, it’s more than just a phrase. It’s a sentiment that has worked its way deeper and deeper into every aspect of mainstream culture. Whilst tonight we perch on the edge of uncertainty ready to be thrown into the vicious claws of Brexit, feelings of hostility and fear are undoubtedly running high.

So when an artist like Rejjie Snow releases a track blazing with politically charged bars and a beat hot enough to burn Theresa May’s horrific crepes, we simply have to do nothing but bow down. Taken from his upcoming debut album, Flexin is not just the modern voice UK anarchy, but is the absolute banger we need to take down “crooked cops” and everything else that’s just a little bit shit.
